So I was wondering if anyone could tell me if I bought a xbox redeem code am I able to use it to buy the Java version of Minecraft??
because I only know I can buy the bedrock edition aka Windows 10 version of minecraft

I don't think it works like that. I think you can only buy Bedrock.
It look something like this (not my pic)
You can use it to buy stuff on the Xbox and Windows 10. I don't think you can buy Java with it though.
