i dont see in any way how this is easier to use than repeaters, heres a simple clock setup that you can do and copy thousands of times, if you only make it twice.
yes but its easier to use this
yes this is in quite common use, however repeaters are used the most commonly as they are more easily edited and less likely to glitch and need less space generally
good for noobs with no redstone experience
forgot to mention the time between the pulses can be made with a longer rail line and more boosters
