1.8 release date

so everyone knows that 1.8 is gonna rock and completly change minecraft. But what i find funny (and annoying) about the release date for this update is that it keeps getting changed. When i first started hearing about this update it was meant to come out September 1st (that couldn't really be possible as mojang were at pax i think) then it was meant to come out today. NOW its meant to come out on monday, i hope it does (i really want to beat the shit out of an enderman) Do u think that the update will be changed again? i hope not
