Outlast definitely. Whistleblower and main game. The setting is creepy, the characters are creepy, the plot is creepy, everything is creepy! Plus the jumpscares man! I'm just walking down a hall and then suddenly someone starts chasing me. Best horror game I've played definitely.

The only horror game I have played is Slender, and that game is not scary.

Well, believe me, its a LOT less scarier playing with a friend. If youre sitting there alone, you are most likely to get 50% more scared... I played the entire game of Outlast in 5 hours with my friend, and the jumpscares where about 70% less scarier. I couldn't even get past the first chase, cause I was so scared

I barely have the computer capacity to play minecraft I can't play any scary games. I did jump whilst watching nilesy play slender it was funny my mamma got a little worried XD

I actually haven't played outlast all the way through yet.
There is a game for the oculus rift known as Affected, by the same people who developed outlast, though. I've played that.
There's three parts, the carnival, the mansion ad the asylum.
That had to be the scariest gaming experience of my life.

Tomb Raider and all the bad weather and the wolves and the huge tribe of ancient maniacs along with the human sacrifices it just all in all freaked me out.
