Server Developer Tips and Tricks

Hey Guys!
My friend and I have been working on a server for quite some time now. About 6 months I'd say? We are just about to finish it too! We have not ran a server ourselfs, but I personally have been an Admin on a server for 2 years. It would be awesome if you could maybe give us some tips on how to be a good Developer.
Our server is a Towny PvP Server, 100% Legit, with minigames, creative world, skyblock.
