As the title says. Should I continue developing my server? With the issues going on at Bukkit, I stopped awhile. I was wondering if I should continue my project, and make a unique server.
P.S I am waiting to hear more on a new API being developed called Sponge. Go check it out at spongepowered.org

I wish I could join the dev team also but I don't know enough about the subject to code it.
I personally voted "No". Depends on how much you like Minecraft, OP.
I personally enjoyed Minecraft a bit, but not that much. I already ended a few servers of mine. It's not about how bad I do it; I very often came back more encouraged than ever. But with all the circumstances around Minecraft right now, I'd say, just backup and archive that thing, and then pull out. Let the dust settle.
If you want to keep the map updated, just keep an eye on updates and rebuild your map everytime. But honestly, I'd say, screw Minecraft unless you actually like it.

With the Bukkit issues and the EULA crackdown coming back around, a lot of servers are starting to face the same issues. I would say that it depends on how much you enjoy it. If it's becoming more work than it's paying off, I would probably say to drop the public server. If you still love running a server and have a nice community feel, I would suggest that you try to tough it out.
Well I am coding the whole server form scratch. All the plugins and the website. The problem is, it's just me doing all the work. But I am going to have all custom games and things not done before on the server that players may or may not like.
Well yeah sure just you should download the files of that server so if mojang changes the eula you can still have the server
