HD Skins?!
Does anyOne know how to do HD SKINS?
Im desperate! I have HD texture packs, but my skins cant match it! PLZ HELP MEH!

They take a long time to make. I personally don't use one because my skin isn't a human which would just kinda look funny if it was hd. So I like to use the less detailed skin that gives more of an impression of what it is. I think that's why people like skins so much, because they are somewhat interpretive and the imagination fills in the details.
I saw a mod that allows you to use HD skins. You can even add capes!
yep but they take like 8 hours to make apparently and only people with the mod can see them

Yes you should.
It's not too complicated to make hd skins, just takes a while if you want it to look good. Find that char.png file, resize it like 2x or 4x depending what res you want. Then you have an hd skin that you can draw on. Nobody else will see your skin, and maybe you just appear default to others, but you have your hd skin.
dude their really isn't a way to make a HD skin. it all depends on how a person shades it in, which most people can't really do. i can't even shade it properly yet.
