I give it a 5/10 because I fear going underground. The thought of becoming a Brony scares me more

At tiny render distance with a creeper in the distance or in a cave with mob sounds closing in a 7 but daytime or just a normal cave a 1 but I swear that once I saw a torch I did not place, but I was playing at my cousin's so he could have done it but 1. He would have gotten lost and 2.He didn't get on at a time I didn't know about

-_- oh boy..umm i would say 7.9/10 (almost 8) b/c every FREAKING time I try to make something,night comes and everything scares the bajeebus outa me.And I think sliver fish push ME up to about a nine.You never know where those things will come up LOL

Most of the time it isn't really scary at all, but yeah, at night, deep in a cave system with potential death from mobs that could be anywhere around you, it gets pretty tense.

I'm not ashamed to admit that when I turn around to find a creeper almost face to face, a little bit of wee comes out.... :/

id say it -1 when compared to silent hill and a 11 when compared with doom 2 and OVER90001!!!1111!!!!!!! when my bro plays it

It depends on whether I'm playing online or not. Playing online it's usually like, a three or something when it's night in the game, but by myself, falling into a cave with spooky ambiance and zombie sounds and no armour, oh gawd get me out of there it's 7/10.

not mention the thought of herobrine

8/10 it scares me too death thinking that when you mine there could something behind you

A long, long time ago, I'd have gone for 9/10. Back then, I refused to leave my house because of spiders... and that was before they could climb.

Now I have tactics for everything. I can survive anything, build anything and craft anything. What is there to be scared of?

I didn't really know where to put this so i put it in GitC.

I would put 10/10 because i have creepers surprise me while i'm playing with TNT inside my house i took a hour to make.
And when i turn around to go chop down a tree with all my daimond gear i see 5 creepers and i look like this
Then when i lose all my items i look like this then this when i still see 3 left

I'd give it a solid 8/10. Creeper fell from the top of a ravine and landed in my waterfall/ elevator. Swam up, and scared the crap out of me while I was mining some redstone. I now use ladders only.

THIS GAME HAS MADE ME SO PARANOID. The day before I got it, I learned of Herobrine. I decided to study up on him. Scared me half to death. (I have a big monitor) The day I got it, I hesitated to play it, but I did. I hadn't known about the difficulty thing, so I freaked out when I heard a -SSSSSSssss..- turned around, and saw a creeper. Ever since then I play Minecraft with all lights on, someone else around, and on peaceful(DON'T JUDGE MEEH. >_<)

WELL i mostly play on a server were im a donater so... /god..../i diamond..... plus creepers dont blow up. BUT in single player survival 9 BECAUSE GOD DANM ENDERS SCARE THE POOP OUTA ME I MEAN THEY ALWAYS SpAWN NEAR MY QUAINT LITTLE HOME!!! and creepers,zombas,slimes,wolfs(angry or not :3) are cute... but skellys and spidars scary o.O ....

Minecraft for me right now is a 6/10, but thats pretty amazing considering how much i play, and how long ive been playing. I know whats coming, but im still scared when it happens

Single player, hard mode, when you've fallen into a dark mineshaft, and you see a cave spider spawner in the distance, and you can hear spider sounds on all sides...I'd say that's 10/10

i would say 4.5 on the factor its not really scary its just the paranoia

When I go to the nether its 10/10
Other than that, It's 0.2/10

one i was mining with a friend and i had no equepment so my friend was coming with some and then i herd a ssssssssss i suvived then a zombie fall on my head and killed me so 7/10

if dead space 2 is 10, then this is 1, but if alien (the film) is 10 i'd give this a 6.5

I would rate it something like 8/10. It might go up, as Notch is adding a lot of stuff.

Why 8? Well, I would sincerely call this game a "medium" Survival-Horror (high goes to Amnesia and such): this game makes you jump out of your chair sometimes (quite a lot if you are a cave explorer) in situations like, I dunno, mining something and then a Creeper jumps out of nowhere REALLY near you or also when you are walking a bit and then BAM! a spider jumps down right in front of you...

Actually, this game has the kind of horror I hate: you know the bad thing is there (mob sounds), but, even if you are prepared for it, it scares you a lot. And we shouldn't forget the eerie cave noises: I HATE THAT SCREECHING VIOLIN SO MUCH!

I would rate it maybe about 5. Yes, in the night it gets creepy, Herobrine is a bit scary, but it's a fun non-scary game overall (<--- does not play minecraft with the lights off).

You know when you wake up in the morning and you've got half an hour spare so you go and play minecraft. And you start mining and find some diamond underneath you! And then you mine it and fall into lava with all your stuff. This morning was one of those mornings...

So that's why I've now got Too Many Items for 1.8. XD

Hmm, i think maybe 3.5 Although creepers are annoying, i don't think they are scary Minecraft is more a game for me that lets my inspiration go

I go into a dark cave.
I have a iron pickaxe.
I go mine some iron I see in the distance.
When I got done mining that I saw a diamond ore above lava.
So I carefully place sand below me so the diamonds dont fall into the lava.
Then I hear SsSsSsSsSs...
And I get tossed into lava with all my stuff.

it was scary for me at the time because it was the first time I saw diamond.When I heard SsSsSsSsSs... i knew what was about to happen.

I would say 6/10, when creppers suddenly blow up from behind, i get scared.
