Okay, i have made up my mind. The final rig is:

Cooler Master HAF X Big Tower Svart
Cooler Master G750M, 750W PSU
Intel Core i5-4670K
MSI Z87-G55, Socket-1150
Cooler Master Seidon 120M CPU Kylare
Crucial DDR3 BallistiX Sport 16GB KIT
MSI GeForce GTX 780 Gaming 3GB PhysX
Seagate Barracuda® 2TB
Samsung DVD Writer, SH-224DB
MS ROYALTY Windows 8.1 Nordic

Total: 2165$

As you can see i went with the i5 and the default 780 because i don't want to go too overprice about it. The i5 is overclockable and it should be no problem to get the performance up a bit

I'm saying don't go with the i7 because your performance would be a lot better if you stuck with the 780ti and stayed with an i5. 780 and 780ti are both beasts, so that's my part. Keep the i5 and get the 780ti with an extra 100 that you could've gotten an i7 with

If your gonna switch the i5 to an i7 and lower the 780 than it's a bad decision, i5 has the same performance as an i7 except the i7 had hyperthreading, the 780 ti will perform a lot better than a 780 but an i7 won't be better gaming wise than an i5, your pretty much just making your performance a lot worse ._.

Edit: didn't read your last post, a 770 will run any game at good fps, but the 780 and 780 to is a lot more future proof

So you suggest that i should go with atleast the i7 or 780ti? the i7 is closer to affoardable for me but the 780ti is a total beast that will last really long in the terms of performance. If i go with both the i7 and the 780ti i will get a cost of about 2541$ which is highly over my price budget. I would like to stick to a price range of 2000-2200$ and the website im buying the pc from won't allow me there unless i build the pc entierly by myself where i would end up in a price of about 2273$ which could be okay. That alternativ includes both the i7 and the 780Ti but i don't know if i can trust myself in building it. I have never built a pc before and would be really sad if i broke one of the components :/

I will take your advice and switch the i5 for an i7. I have made up my mind and switched the 780ti into a regular 780 which should be able to handle most new games just fine. I will keep the power supply as it is. About the hard drive, i like to keep everything in one place instead of two so i will stick with the 2TB one, i will never use that much space anyways but it's good to have. I plan to overclock it a little bit but most people say that i will do just fine with the power supply. I never thought more about the cooling, perhaps it would be nice with some water cooling but i don't know if i can afford it. I probably can because it's only about 100$

Here are the updated specks:

Cooler Master HAF X Big Tower black
Cooler Master G750M, 750W PSU
Intel Core i7-4770 Processor
MSI Z87-G55, Socket-1150
Cooler Master Seidon 120M CPU cooler
Crucial DDR3 BallistiX Sport 16GB KIT
MSI GeForce GTX 780 Gaming 3GB PhysX
Seagate Barracuda® 1TB
Samsung DVD Writer, SH-224DB
MS ROYALTY Windows 8.1 Nordic

Total: 2232$[/quote]

You really don't need an i7 for gaming. No offence to anyone, but that advice is total bull. An i5 will perform just as well, the fps difference will be literally 5 at the max, maybe not even that. I am using a 780Ti, as expected, it handles all games no problem. The regular 780 should be the same, it's still a beast of a card. Just take 5 - 10 fps away from the 780Ti according to some benchmarks. I would go with the 780 if money is a concern. I overclock @ 4.5GHz on an i5 4670k, I use a h100i, amazing cooler. I only use a 750w though, so I'm pretty sure 750w will do fine for you. Not to sure how much the H100i is in USD, but in my currency, it's about £90.

EDIT: If you are going to go in to the route of 3D rendering and video editing, and i7 may be worth investing in.

Yeah, money is a concern because i don't want to lose every single penny that i have so i will probably stick to the i5 then. I am not planning on 3D rendering and video editing but if it would happen i can always change the cpu later, right now it's only going to be used for gaming. If i overlock a little i could get pretty high numbers in fps. I am not talking about some crazy 200-300 fps but im fine with around 60-70. Thank you a lot for the advice!

Ok well personally you would save a lot more building your own PC. As for a part breakdown:

CPU: The i5 is ok you may just want to spend a little extra and go with the i7 4820k (its $300)
Motherboard is fine
Power Supply: I would recommend a 1000wat 80+ Gold standard if your going to run this machine for long periods of time and you plan to overclock it
GPU/Graphics Card: The graphics card (NIVIDIA) is great, but I would highly suggest getting the new Radeon 290X/290 because It can not only save you money but it is more powerful (just be warned the card gets hot and can be loud).
Hard Drive: If your gaming invest in 2 hard drives 1 for data 1 for crucial gaming files. Get 1 SSD (240GB is a decent amount) and 1 regular hard drive a WD Caviar Black 4TB should do you fine ($256). Plus the WD runs at 7200 RPM and is RAID 0+1 compatible.
Memory: RAM is good for gaming and personal use

Hope this helps you may also want to look into some system cooling (fans/water cooling) especially if you want to overclock in the future.

Yea good pc, but try upgrading from i5 to i7, i7 is faster and better

He is most likely a gamer, an i7 doesn't perform better, an i7 just has hyperthreading, which is good for processing videos and using 3D editing software
So if you're getting it to game, stick with an i5

Thanks a lot for all the answers! I want my comupter to be able to last for a couple of years so that's why im going a little more expensive than needed. The windows 8 nordic thing is because im swedish, so i wanted a swedish operative system. The cpu is included in a kit which comes with a cpu cooler of sorts. The swedish reviews says that the cooler is just fine so i will proably stick to that.
