Hi, so I had this idea for a server. I have seen how factions servers make kind of a bad community who always raid you and such and so I propose to you this. On the server you would join. Then you would be warped to a plot where you can build. The goal of the server is to build and help each other out. This promotes kindness and makes a strong community. The thing is this would not be some build server. I would use the plugin craftbook this would add things such as chairs, bridges, cauldrons, pipes, elevators, gates, drawbridges, and more! This would allow for endless possibilities such as being to build your own castle with a working draw bridge. I'd like to do this idea since I feel the community is sort of falling apart and I'd like to have a community where people help each other out. Also their would be ranks that you could obtain free of charge. In addition we would have some cool plugins like mob arena as well. You would be able to adventure in that world without fear of being raided.

Towny is not a very good protection plugin, I think Grief Prevention works a lot better!
I have found server such as this one fail to become popular. I owned a survival server where you could NOT grief or raid or steal, but no one really stayed on that server. But don't let me hold you back, try it!

1. Plot World exist's and has the same idea as your server
2. THIS IS DEFINITELY A VERY EASY SERVER TO GRIEF!
3. INSTALL WORLD EDIT!!!
4. INSTALL WORLD PROTECT!
5. Sort out perms
6. If your going to make a server like that do not invite everyone as at some point you will invite a hacker or a client user and your server may be hacked or ddossed!
7. DO NOT POST YOUR OWN SERVER IP TO EVERYONE!
8. I suggest making a different server host and using a proxy server!
9. I also highly recommend a application kind of bases where not everyone can get in. This will de-courage grievers!
10. Also you will want something unique as I could simply go onto WoK or A large plotworld server and basically doing something along the same lines:

12. And a awesome plugin (WHICH WOULD BE EPICALLY UNIQUE! ) would be Battlefield 4, and DayZ. That would make your server very popular in a very short amount of time!

i think its a good idea you could try to make it that only when the owner is on people can mess with his island this is not a good idea but its the only i can think of (also when you make this can i have the ip address)
Greif prevention protects the land. You can trust people so they can build on your claim.
Well. There would not be any raiding but there sure would be griefing. Once they trust the person to build/break. Which I think is just as bad if not worse as raiding. "Yeah just trust me to build on your plot. Im a very good builder." Now when that person goes offline. He destroys everything. Maybe there is a certain plugin that would fix this. Or maybe have a bunch of staff going around rolling back griefs. Otherwise it would be a great server.
I see what you mean. I plan on having a plugin like core protect and players would use something either like plotme or greif prevention to protect their homes. I personally prefer greif prevention since the longer they stay online the more land they can claim.
