When I put my launcher to 1.5.2 and I goto servers I see a 1.6.1 server and I cant join cause it uses a newer version of Minecraft, but it says that version is 1.3 when it is 1.6.1

Maybe you just miss the 1.3 versions so much?
It is just a connection bug is all, it happens sometimes.

Its a bug, it was noted as fixed for 1.6.2 which comes out tomorrow

I get that error too sometimes, just join the server anyways even though it says 1.3
May bee because those servers are running the Dev version of bukkit/craft bukkit.
Im sorry but I can't explain but I can say this has happened to me too. I was playing on a server and when I left it said it was 1.3. Wierd....
I saw that on one server I used to play on. Maybe it was a bug with early 1.6.1 versions of Craftbukkit (i.e. the first 1.6.1 build, as the second one works fine in this sense)?
