This is a trick question that my grandpa asked me.(Note:WITNESS IS WEARING GLASSES!)
There is a witness and a judge
Judge:Let the Witness talk
Witness:It was cold outside, and i went in my house, and as soon as i got in,i saw a knife on the table,i knew there was a murder
Judge:This witness is lying!
Now you have to figure out why,i couldn't,but i know it now

It can be either ways. He might not be lying or he might not, if my guess is right.
When it says "AS SOON as I entered my house" he couldn't possibly have seen the table from the door, unless he was wearing his glasses or the table was close to him.
EDIT:
If it was cold outside his glasses would have that smokey stuff on his glasses, he would have to rub it off before he could see the table

That is correct! If it's cold outside, and you go in somewhere where is hot,and you are wearing glasse, they would be foggy, and you couldn't see anything
