what do you think will be in the update. could there be new mobs, new blocks, or they might add the aether
:0 Check out youtube Minecraft 1.3 snapshots they have all the anwsers you need and aether is not coming in.
OK so the aether is a mod. Notch, however is working with the creator of the zipline mod and is paying them. So he would have to pay the creator, and business deals can take time and plus, it has been confirmed that there will be a modding API. Notch has also confirmed "skylands" in the future.
Go on youtube it has so many 1.3 videos, there are snapshots,previews,etc.Type in minecraft 1.3 update! I cant wait for it to come out
I found the title misleading.
it is unknown when it will be out, but it should be out soon. you don't have to update your servers, but only people with 1.2.5 can go on it. so yes update your servers if you want it to be compatible with 1.3
