What landclaim plugin should I use?

I am planning on making a Minecraft server and I wanna see what kinds of PVE game modes are popular, As I know Towny and GriefPrevention are the most common among servers now a day but which do you prefer? Which one would you play on? Maybe there is a newer or lesser known land claim plugin that might work better, Let me know what you think. All insight will help me with my server!

PS: A small description of your choice would be helpful as well

Grief Prevention for a normal survival server. Towny for a towny server. If you want to be unique then go with Residence or Red Protect. But i'd say just get GriefPrevention beacuse it requires no configuration (only to enable claim blocks buying) and most people already know how to use that

Well honestly towny is very different than griefprevention.

Towny on the surface is the same as griefprevention with a bit more flags but easier to bypass but then when you get a bigger playerbase the towny can turn into a less "intense" version of factions as the nations go to war with each other. Note that once the "war" period is over all griefed content is restored and the war can only go on for so long.

Where as griefprevention you can "siege" another persons claim but its more of a 1v1 type of thing if you enable it. Griefprevention is alot harder to bypass.

So its really up to you what type of server do you want to create?
