I only play any bedrock when I'm traveling or to play with my brother who prefers it.

I play Windows 10 edition, because it is most optimised and is close to Java on features now
plus the unmodded version has a much higher rendering distance as well as antialiasing and is getting super duper graphics pack.
original Minecraft should've been programmed in C++
Java VM has a reputation for being slow on games and Minecraft proved that.
I don't like lag spikes and I prefer it be smooth as I'm exploring the world and as it loads new chunks. :)
