Well it still is pretty creepy.

doh, that happens when the world uses an old terrain generator and then re-generates some of the chunks using a newer algorithm from a more recent update. Happens on many parts of my server if those chunks regenerate. Only happens if those trees are old growth. If you move past an edge into new generation, newly generated trees will hang over instead of being cut. Only applies when seeing changes from one terrain generator to another that have come with updates (boo, lapis, and 1.3, among other updates).

This world is split in half! I DIDNT ENTER ANY SEED.

Plus this happened today.
