Can I use mods in Java in 1.21.10?
Sooooo... I was looking to get a Java mod for my new pc Java world.
I wanna buy fairylights and sophisticated backpacks.
Does anyone know if I need to wait 4 them to get a new update 2 use them in my up-to-date mc Java??

yes mods work on 1.21.10 - i'm using Fabric as a modded client and i'm playing on 1.21.10.
unsure of the mods you mentioned, keep in mind most mods are free though. you can try running them although they're not fit for 1.21.10 and if it doesn't work just delete them.

hey. maybe some, but most likely not - if your game crashes upon launching, it's probably the non-updated mods causing the issue.
you might have better chances with mods that are fit for 1.21.8, which should be most at this point, but that also doesn't guarantee they'll work on 1.21.10.
the mods i use are mostly all up to date, however, for the ones that aren't, i'll just wait for the developer to update them.

it looks like for sophisticated backpacks is only for 1.20.1 (which i believe is the most common version for mods)
i couldn't find the fairylights on curseforge though, maybe they're on modreth.
but 1.20.1 rly isn't that bad, most of my modpacks are that version, and the most mods are too.

Well it depends on the mod, not all mods have support for 1.21.10 yet
Also you can see what version the mod is for when you're downloading it
And no you can't use mods that are 1.21.1 for 1.21.10 unless that mod was updated to work with 1.21.10

last time i checked the only mod you can buy is the pro version of the physics mod
Usually you have to wait, unless the mod already has a file that supports said version. Fairy Lights by pau101 is still back in 1.20.1 forge. Sophisticated Backpacks on the other hand's in 1.21.8 neoforge. If you want to use these in your Java 1.21.10 world you have to wait or find an alternative.
