Character creation mod: HELP NEEDED
When starting a minecraft world, all one needs to do is choose some world options and create a world to play in. Every character/player is only different by their skin or their name. The idea our team had was:

A mod in which character creation had more depth.
The player could choose from fantasy races or classes.
Or a mod where the player could choose a superpower to begin the game with.
Anything to have the start of the game have long-lasting effects on your player.

1. Levelup - Class/leveling stats system
2. Gokistats - ^
3. Bleach Mod - Choose your race based on the bleach anime each having pros/cons
4. Rangers Apprentice Mod - Classes with skills based on a book of the same name
5. RPG Inventory - Classes each can wield special items AND have skills
6. Custom NPCs - It can be done if you are careful and know what you're doing
7. RPG Revolution (already suggested, classes/skills/dungeons)
8. Custom Player Models (already suggested, use with above mods for aesthetics)

The former is a class selection/levelup skills mod with world gen and bosses.
The latter is race/class selection but stuck in 1.3, I believe.
I recommend magic crusade in conjunction with Noppes's custom player model mod.

I have wanted a mod like this for awhile now.
Wouldn't be a mod, but you can simply do these things with a handfull commandblocks in your world
It would be lower quality, though.
