Wool Padded Armor (note wool is also craftable from string making it even more an early game item)

This would offer protection equal to iron (possibly diamond), but durability equal to leather.
More importantly, it doubles both fire damage (2/tick from normal fire 4/tick form soul fire) and burning time and can not be enchanted with Fire Resistance

Possible additional features:
Walk on Powdered Snow as leather boots
Acts like walking on wool blocks for Sculk/Warden
Can catch fire from walking on Magma Blocks

Goofy idea:
a heat system that burns u at 10 degrees celsius
stupid idea:
a nuclear furnace that just blows up instead of being useful
Cursed idea:
Brainrot collectibles

CURSED:
Microtransactions, but purely in-game: you must pay 1 emerald every hour to continue playing, or... something bad happens.

GOOFY:
Furnaces/smokers/campfires yell every time you smelt or cook something. Smelt some iron ore? AAAAA HOT HOT HOT! Steak? MOOOOO NOOOO! Other stuff? INDIGESTION TIIIIIMEEEE AHHHH!

STUPID:
Inventory management is now more realistic. Carrying a boat? Whoops, that's half your slots. 10 cobblestone? Hope you like crawling back to your base!
