I play on servers a lot and sometimes come across profanity. I have tried looking for chat filter mods that can run on the client but all of them are either very old or are for servers. Is there any chat filter mod for the latest version that is not for servers?

Thanks, but how do I install it? It downloaded a jar and it does nothing when i run it.
you need to dowland forge first and put .jar in the mod folder inside minecraft folder inside %appdata%
Well, it does require this dependency mod as well if you haven't downloaded it :

.... the only other thing it needs is Forge, for whatever MC version you are using.
Both of the downloaded files go into your .... \.minecraft\mods folder ........ the mods folder will only be created if you install Forge first.
