Hello, I am TidalRyan, owner of TidalCraftMC. Yesterday my server was DoS attacked about 25 times. The attacks took down my router and lasted about 7 minuets in duration. Someone with a lot of alts (presumable a hacked client) kept changing their Ip and saying, "You like this attack? Unban me" ect.

Edit: I did contact the police and they gave me a number for CrimeFraud, I haven't rank yet though.

NuclearManx By the way, don't bother trying to press charges that will be a waste of your time.
waste of time maybe. but the issue gets logged, if it kleeps happening to the user and they keep reporting it it will be logged more and more and more until it becomes a big thing which will get looked into
I don't really see what you can do. If you go and rent a server they will probably have some form of DDoS protection. By the way, don't bother trying to press charges that will be a waste of your time.
