Drill block?

Hey guys, I'm making a mod for a friend and I need to figure out how to make a block or entity that acts like a drill and can dig down into the ground, that you can set to have say an x% chance of breaking when it hits a certain ore and funnels up only certain blocks or liquids and puts it in a tank or a chest. I'm not very good with coding active blocks like this, so if someone could send me a full code string I can just put in for the block for me that would be great
