How might I go about making a launcher for Minecraft? Doesn't have to be anything fancy, I just want to click on an app and Minecraft opens. Would this be best programmed in Java or C? I'm on a Mac running Mountain Lion.

Just make a shortcut with the Java launch command in it.
EDIT: Oh, you're on a mac. I have no idea how macs work.
