Help! Linux modder in need!

Hey....Everybody. Running on linux ubuntu and I cannot mod. :/. All of the mod makers are only for mac/windows. Any suggestions?

Quite easy to be honest, no real difference. The language is still the same so just learn some Java and how to read Minecraft API and then go find out how to setup MCP on Linux. Jeesh
He wants someone to make him a mod, because he has Linux and isn't bothered to go learn himself...
For running servers I much prefer linux. What do you mean by linux mod maker though?
