Help with Curseforge!

Hi,
I wasn't sure whether to put this in mods or resource packs.. but here goes.. I'm using the curseforge app for the first time, I've set up a modpack with MCA reborn and RHG. They are working fine. The problem is when I try to add my resource packs in. The main one being Epic Adventures and Jerm's Better Leaves. They are definitely the correct versions and I have ran both these packs when using my normal launcher but when I launch the game through the curseforge app it says they are incompatible and made for newer versions of minecraft? (I'm playing 1.18.2).
It will still let me add them but they aren't working out in game, menus all over the place and generally just look 'off'.
I really want to play with these packs.. does anyone know a fix for this?? 🙏
