Help with Flans

I put together a modpack and when i started to play with Flans i noticed that instead of iron ingots in the modern weapon box there was a white block instead. I looked through my NEI but i couldn't find the block. I also tried to use iron blocks and regular iron but nothing seemed to work. Could i get some help?

Umm try using craftguide and click on it or just hit r over it with recipe mode on
