I found the lagless shaders online, and I like how they look and how well they perform, but I do have some issues with them. (Specifically the standard version)

I'm going to list some of the issues I have, but I have no idea how shaders work or where to even begin with modifying them. I mostly want to know where to check to fix them, or how to add what it is I want.
Firstly, it seems too dim. At night it's too dark and light sources look too dim, and at day it looks too dim for being day with the light sources still looking too dim.
Second, on 1.12.2 and earlier (maybe later versions are effected too, didn't try) lighting can be blocky, best seen on this pool here.
Third, I would like to add some sort of AA to them, maybe some sort of TAA would be nice, but not sure how to do it.
If anyone can help me out, I would appreciate it.
