How to make randomly generating structures?

Hello guys! I have looked every where online for a decent and simple tutorial about make randomly generating structures ,but either they are not for the version I am using(1.6.4), or they simply just do not work. I would really appreciate it if someone could tell me how to do so! Thanks in advance!

use mcreator if you are doing it with a mod
