I need help with modding!!!

Me and my friends have a server where you kill a player you get this new item called a soul, however me and my friend slaved away for hours just making commands to do this. It would be so much easier if it was a mod.
Are there any Java developers out there that could help me make it? I can make models ect but that’s what I need help with. Reply to this forum if you can help and I’ll give you more details!
