My idea for a texture-combiner mod
First I want to say that I don't know anything about modding, but I have an idea.
Mod description
Its main goal is basically to clone an exact copy of the creative menu in a new tab, but using another texturepack.
Uses of the mod
The uses are just infinite, specially for mapmaking and vanilla mods.
Imagine you download an only-one-command mod which adds motorbikes and another which adds trucks using custom models on a texturepack and armor stands, but imagine that both use the coal item for one of their models, normally you would have to choose one, but with this idea you could have both and even more without interrupting your survival experience (finding trucks in coal ores is a bit weird)
How would it work
This is the part I don't know anything about, but I think adding a data tag (called texturepack, for instance) to the blocks would be a good solution
And there's also the problem with the new-generated terrain, what I propose is having a main texturepack (the one shown in the first creative menu) which would control the already existing blocks as a normal texturepack would do.
