I know there hasn't been any mods for 1.7.2 minecraft, and I was thinking, "Why doesn't someone make a mod that adds all the features 1.7.2 does", not all, but all they can? If someone can do that you should. The 1.7.2 mod for minecraft 1.6.4., May sound confusing but why not. Have 1.6.4 mods and 1.7.2 features. I know that forge hasn't fixed for 1.7.2 but they still can make a 1.7.2 mod right?

It's possible but the time taken in order to do it, to get the biomes just right as well as adding things in such as the temperature system which changes world generation will take weeks to do. To attune it correctly and do everything just right will be difficult and time consuming. By the time such a mod exists from this point on wards, forge will have updated.
But anyways does anyone think that is possible?
Wait... a 1.7.2 'mod' for 1.6.4? Am I getting this right? It seems a little bit confusing to have a 1.7.2 mod if you could just update to 1.7.2.. or am I completely missing the concept here?
In 1.7.2 they change a lot of things and now Forge has to update a lot to. mainly for the people that want to have modsin 1.6.4 but also want the new biomes and such from 1.7.2.
If you'd have a 1.7.2 mod for 1.6.4 you can use other mods which you can't use if you upgrade to 1.7.2
