Mod Idea+help

ok so i have eclipse Forge and MCP and have succesfully got all the files to make a mod but how exactly would i code something like a new half slab i really need someone to help me because i have a really good mod idea BUT i need to figure out how to code half slab blocks Thanks ,anyone that can help plz message me and i will be very grateful
