Okay so im using forge-1.6.4-9.11.1.965 and the orespawn mod & at first i was all excited thinking it was working since all the items are in creative mode menu but when i go to put the mobs down or shoot a bow they disappear out of my menu and do absolutely nothing. I've googled searched and haven't found anyone with the exact issue as me..if someone could help me i would definitely appreciate it. :]

I think mods only work on vanilla servers. Usually servers are bukkit, which I don't think allows mods.
The exact opposite of this is true.
Bukkit servers accept plugins. Vanilla servers do not. Mods that use vanilla commands to spawn items, like Too Many items, work in vanilla or Bukkit servers so long as you have the correct permissions.

the mod wasn't properly coded to work with SMP, clearly. Contact the mod author and let them know, I'm sure they'd help you out / optimize the code for SMP.
