Hello, I am MineStein and I am looking for someone to direct me to a good tutorial for mod-making for Minecraft 1.6.4, but it needs to be a Mac or Mac-compatible tutorial that will teach me the basics. Thank you in advance

Hello MineStein. So I don't really know of any quality tutorials, but I can point you in some of the right directions. So, as you probably know, Minecraft is coded in Java, so that's the programming language you'll be needing to get familiar with. For coding with Java, I recommend using Eclipse as your editor. It has syntax highlighting and does recommendations, which are both useful. I'm sure there are some tutorials on YouTube, and you can always google Java tutorials. I hope this can help you get started in your search for tutorials!
