Need Help Making Mod.

Hey Everyone,
I've recently decided to make some mods I'm either going to try making them with a mod maker etc. I was wondering if any one knew any good you tube videos/ tutorials that they could send me a link to whether it be for a mod maker or from scratch I would also like it if someone could give me some tips for just help me out. Please reply.

Watch thenewboston's tutorials on java. Preferably all of them but up to 60 should get you on the right track. then look at Minecraft coder's pack setup tutorials and then get into things like, "Making a new mod. the basics" and go from there. I know it sounds like a lot of work, but you cant just learn to mod like a pro overnight with a couple modding tutorials.
