I know basic java script but was just wondering how much do you need to know to mod! I really want to start modding however. Can you mod Minecraft with basic Java Script Knolage or is it better to go out and learn more advanced stuff.? If you need more detail on what I mean just post a comment and Ill explain more.

JavaScript and Java are very similar, Java is more in-depth and meant to do heavy-lifting. If you know JavaScript, it shouldn't be that hard to figure out Java, and then Minecraft itself.
Modding isn't that hard.
