I can only code in Basic, and I use Linux, so anything that I can get to work for me is a fail program for modding. I'd like someone to create the following mod for me:
Items:
-Ruby, Obsidian, and Flint tools
-Ruby has special crafting recipes after the tool is crafted to give it new powers:
-Feathers give Knockback/Feather Falling
-Fire charges give Fire Aspect
-Obsidian gives Unbreaking/Protection
-Obsidian is a step above diamond
-Crafted from Obsidian Bars (Made by putting obsidian in a crafting table to get Obsidian Dust, then smelted into bars)
-Flint is equal to stone, except the swords are powerful, the tools are the same durability as wood, and they are as fast as diamond.
-Armors of Ruby and Obsidian Bars
Blocks:
-Material blocks
-Ruby Ore

(Redstone would be an interesting idea too. Smelt it into bars for tools. (but what would it do different, though?))

Yeah I wouldn't mind making it. Do you have all the graphics made up though?
I can't do complicated color changes, an definitely not the necessary ones right now, but you just need to change colors. Ruby textures already exist:

You can get some pretty nice textures with mag.racked.eu. Just go to the creator and copy the stock pictures.

i can make textures but not mods.
I can't use most programs because I run Linux...

Update, so that someone may see this and help. They don't even need to be an expert modder, they just need one of those fancy mod creators that Linux can't use!
