New Meteor Mod!!, need some textures!

Hi, im making a meteor mod that will add quite rare meteors. These will fall from the sky and blow stuff up as youd expect, however i now want to add some ore which can only be found in the meteors which will make weapons tools and armour which are stronger than diamond because they will be so rare. So... im not very good a texturing and i need someone to make me a set of textures for a new ore, ingot or something,armour and tools (maybe a bow later but not now). Im looking for new ideas not just a recoloured diamond so if anyones interested please leave a comment. If theres more than 1 person i will decide which i like the most and use that set , full credit will be given to any textures used.

no offense but i think the textures still need some work. i like the armor but i thought you should've used thatsmypickaxe's tools. i don't understand why the is obsidian and the purple smoke makes it look like a pink mutant fart. i'm not trying to hate or anything, i do love the mod

wow isn't that kinda op'd? (overpowered) its just my opinion but... do whatever you want

do you mean the armour? , remember that these events will be very rare, and you may not even get any ore from one. BUT ill release a beta this week and if it is overpowered it can easily be changed its not a problem

ill upload a video today just to show off some of the features these are:
-new meteor system meteors are now a sphere randomly chosen at either 1, 2 or 3 block radius. 1 is the most likely , 2 the second most etc
-Meteors spawn with a random mix of obsidian and meteorite ore (name?), there is a 1 in 5 chance of each block being a piece of meteor ore making it even rarer
-Meteor blast radius and fire is now dependant on size and random to make each event more unique
-Blocks now drop meteorite shards which are used to craft things
-All armor and tools can be crafted (currently using my obby mod textures)
-Tools and armour are about twice as strong as diamond and last 3-5 times longer , this is because its so rare but can be changed if nessacary
-If wearing a full set of meteor armour the player will have a trail of purple smoke follow them
Anything else i need? (Ps. this is all done and working)

There loads of tutorials out there, basically you create a 16x16 square and then make the texture on that

Also, just so you know, meteorites can come in several colors from a light blue to a faded yellow, and are usually made of stone or metal.
thanks alot but i wanted the meteors to have a purple ore in them , i can always use a different texture for the rock compared to the ore?, i like the background because its new but add some purple ore
