NotBlocks Mod [WIP]
[WIP - Need a team, a modding program, and some brains to know WTF I'm doing]
[I take no credit for all the original blocks idea, but I do take credit for making them stackable and usable without suffering from the use]
NotBlocks is a mod that takes most of the blocks that you cannot stock or that are not completely solid and makes them solid and stackable.
[Yes, I know stackable probably isn't even a word]
==========
How Does It Work?
Simple, NotBlocks takes the most basic of blocks; such as Herobrine, still water, still lava, and then makes them into solid blocks.
==========
Why Would I Want The NotBlocks Mod?
Good question... why wouldn't you want it? Think about it for a second...
Say you want to just scare the snot out of your friends with Herobrine, but sadly you cannot edit your jar file because your computer sucks [or some other reason].
NotBlocks will be designed to work the way a "Forge/Forge Modloader 1.6.2" program is supposed to work, out of the MODS folder in your appdata [or wherever your mods folder is].
With NotBlocks, you don't need the "herobrine" mod or any other extended mod for that matter... all NotBlocks is, is a mod that takes previously made basic creations and turns them into solid blocks.
==========
Wait, How Do The Blocks Become Solid?
Well, actually that is hard for me to explain... seeing as how I don't know anything about modding.
It's like this, imagine the "stone" or "wood" block... now make that block invisible.
That's pretty much the idea, we'll use the coding of other blocks [mostly bedrock] and then fill in the space with emptyness.
==========
I Still Don't Get It?
Neither do I, but the concept makes sense.
Say you wanted to make a house out of flowers, but since flowers are not STACKABLE... NotBlocks makes it so that you can stack flowers the same way you would stack wood.
==========
What Blocks Will Be Used?
Well, for starters... the most basic of blocks I can figure out.
-Flowers
-Lava
-Water
-Sand [that stays in the air and doesn't fall down]
-Herobrine
-Steve
-Cow
-Wolf
And a few others.
==========
What Do The Blocks Look Like?
Well, it's really simple... take the original block, make the entire space it takes up "solid" [but still invisible] and then make it so you can stack the exact same thing on top of it.
So for example, take Herobrine... say you wanted to make a house out of Herobrine mobs. Well, with NotBlocks, it will take up the exact same space that Herobrine takes up [when he isn't moving at all] and then become solid and stackable.
==========
What Do The Blocks Sound Like?
At the moment, I am going to go with the "stone" sound since these blocks are designed to represent a building block.
==========
How Are The Blocks Made?
Now this idea really got my attention... "how should I make a NotBlock?"
Then it hit me... NotBlocks are not blocks, so why not sacrifice the building block to make a block in order to make a NotBlock?
==========
What???? I'm Confused Now!
Okay, here's how it works...
NotBlocks will NOT appear naturally on the world and can only be created with a crafting table.
To create any BASIC NotBlock, such as "still water", "still lava", "floating sand" and a few others; you will need to do it like this:
CT -- CT
--- CT ---
CT -- CT
Place 5 crafting tables into the crafting table to make 10 "basic" NotBlocks of your choice. Once you make the choice, all blocks in that 10 stack will be the exact same.
==========
Wait, "Basic"? Is There Another Type?
Yes, there are "Basic" NotBlocks and "Advanced" NotBlocks.
Advanced NotBlocks are used to create larger objects, such as "Herobrine", "Cow", "Wolf", "Steve", "Zombie" and others.
To create an "advanced" NotBlock, here is the recipe:
CT CT CT
CT CT CT
CT CT CT
You will need to fill up the entire crafting table with crafting tables to make 5 Advanced NotBlocks.
==========
Wait, How Can I Choose Between Blocks I Want?
Alright, so that is where the tricky part comes in...
You can either do it naturally in Creative Mode [by viewing the new NotBlocks Tab], or you can do it during the creation.
After creating your NotBlock stack, a new GUI or message will pop up. In this message will list all the different NotBlocks you can make with that recipe.
Then, simply select the block you want by pressing the shown key and it will place that specific NotBlock stack into your inventory.
==========
So, How Do I Know What Stack Is What?
Well, for starters... it will say what NotBlock it is when you go over it in your inventory, chest, and wherever else you place it.
Secondly, everytime you create a NotBlock... each NotBlock will have it's own image.
So sand will look like sand, and the Herobrine NotBlock will look like Herobrine's face.
And so on and so forth...
==========
Are NotBlocks Like "Bedrock"?
Yes, to be completely honest... they will retain almost the EXACT same setup as "Bedrock".
But here's the catch... they can only be broken with a NotPickaxe.
The recipe for a NotPickaxe is:
CT -- F
--- B ---
F --- CT
This means, you will need 2 furnaces [F], 2 crafting tables [CT], and 1 bone [B]
==========
What Are NotPickaxe(s)?
NotPickaxe(s) are like regular pickaxes, the only difference is that they can ONLY mine NotBlocks and nothing else.
If used on any other block besides a NotBlock, they will automatically go into your inventory. Or if that is too complex to design, they will just break immediately or act as if you are punching the block.
==========
Are NotPickaxe(s) Like Bedrock Too?
Yes, in a way... to clarify this, they only work on NotBlocks and if used on any other kind of block, they will break or disappear.
I haven't decided on that yet, but the idea makes sense... that way people don't try using the NotPickaxe as an unlimited source of pickaxe.
==========
Is That All?
Yeah, that's pretty much it.
The idea seems a bit "basic" and possibly "overused", but so far... whom else has done something like this?
I haven't found anything similar yet, so if there is already something similar... then they really should have made it more noticible, cause this idea seems so simple.
Like seriously, you get the chance to play with blocks that you normally can't play with.
You get the chance to "use" Herobrine, or "use" lava and not get killed by it.
It's like this... every NotBlock will represent the sound qualities of stone, the invincibility properties of bedrock, and the shape properties of the actual block.
Blocks like Herobrine will most likely be 2 blocks wide by 2-3 blocks tall. [based on actual block sizes]

This will actually make water and torches etc, pushable, you realise that, and that water won't be able to move, it will stay in one place
That's the idea my friend, it's more or less used for jumpscares and LOLs.
I figured... "why not make a house out of flowers?"
"Why not make a house out of steves?"
"Why not place a barricade of random blocks to confuse people?"
If anything, I know what it will do... but it will still be amusing.

I feel like some person would build a house out of lava.
Hey man, people like to build... and I have always became curious of this idea and I've been working on it for a good week and a half, but sadly; I have no skill in how to create this... so I'm actually looking for a program to help me create this idea or at least give me the just of it [or find someone to do the work for me]
But yeah, I was sitting on Minecraft one day... and I was like "man, I wish I could place Herobrine in front of my house without him attacking me"
And then I was like "wait a minute, what if I make a Herobrine block that really isn't Herobrine, just looks like him."
So yeah, an idea is born... but sadly, I don't know a darn thing about modding. -_-

Yes, I know I did some spelling errors... anywhere that it says "stock" I meant "stack".
