Request for something specific involving bows

Earlier today I had a marvelous idea, a Stadiametric rangefinder for minecraft bows. It seemed that somebody else had that idea too, and made one involving textures on a pumpkin. I'd like to ask someone to make a way for me to view this without a pumpkin, to make it permanently attached to my minecraft screen, if possible. if one is already made, I'd ask for you to mention a link in the comments, thanks for looking through this! I would really like for this to happen, I've used it on rifles in real life, and they're extremely useful.
