I am making a minecraft mod. The setTextureName("") function isn't working. I heard that Mojang changed the texture system. What is the function? Thanks.

thats specifically why i am not going to 1.8 mods.. they made it so you need to know json and java just to make a texture work.. so i was like.. no. im staying at 1.7.10 until theres an easier way.

You don't need to know JSON, just copy over some "Dummy" JSON code and add in a texture. As far as modeling goes, it's still the exact same.
