Ultimate FPS Tips For Modded Minecraft! (Java)
Have you ever wanted to have lots of mods installed in Minecraft but your game gets too laggy? Try this and get better FPS and be able to install more mods!
Step 1:
Install Fabric loader here: fabricmc.net/use/installer/
Go here to find out how to install fabric: https://thebreakdown.xyz/how-to-download-install-the-fabric-mod-loader/
Step 2:
Turn your RAM up to 4, 5, or 6
How to turn up RAM in Minecraft: nodecraft.com/support/games/minecraft/how-to-allocate-more-ram-to-minecraft-launchers
Step 3:
Uninstall old java (Not Minecraft, just the platform thing u installed to support mods)
Go here: www.java.com/en/download/uninstalltool.jsp
Step 4:
Install Java 21
Go here: www.oracle.com/java/technologies/downloads/#jdk21-linux
How to install: www.java.com/en/download/help/download_options.html
Step 5:
Download the following: (I would download all these because otherwise you get lag)
https://www.curseforge.com/minecraft/mc-mods/sodium
https://www.curseforge.com/minecraft/mc-mods/sodium-extra
https://modrinth.com/mod/lithium
https://www.curseforge.com/minecraft/mc-mods/modernfix
https://www.curseforge.com/minecraft/mc-mods/ferritecore-fabric
https://modrinth.com/mod/reeses-sodium-options
www.curseforge.com/minecraft/mc-mods/immediatelyfast
www.curseforge.com/minecraft/mc-mods/starlight
https://www.curseforge.com/minecraft/mc-mods/clumps
modrinth.com/mod/moreculling
https://www.curseforge.com/minecraft/mc-mods/fabric-api
https://modrinth.com/mod/memoryleakfix
https://www.curseforge.com/minecraft/mc-mods/fastquit (Not really optimization booster, but still helps save.)
https://modrinth.com/mod/forcecloseworldloadingscreen (Same as the above)
https://www.curseforge.com/minecraft/mc-mods/yacl
https://www.curseforge.com/minecraft/mc-mods/cloth-config
www.curseforge.com/minecraft/mc-mods/fast-paintings
modrinth.com/mod/modmenu?fromcf
https://www.curseforge.com/minecraft/mc-mods/cull-leaves (For this mod I would recommend going onto resource packs and turning on smart leaves otherwise they look quite ugly)
Step 6:
Put the mods in your mods folder
Go to wherever your downloads are and drag the mods to your desktop.
Open the Minecraft Launcher and go to installations.
Then hover over the fabric loader and click the folder button.
Open your mods folder. (If you don't have one, create one. Right click and press new folder then name it mods.)
Drag the mods in your mods folder.
Step 7:
Launch Minecraft on your Fabric installation.
All done! Comment what you think and vote if it helped.
If any other dependencies are needed or you have anything else to add, please comment it below.
P.S. Maybe try these ones that are not in the above list for specific reasons:

https://www.curseforge.com/minecraft/mc-mods/entityculling (If you get this remove moreculling or you will get lag.)

Very good! How much FPS does uninstalling old Java improve?
1
thx and you have to use it or you can't get the full java 21 and it helps alot.
2
These are rather good! Havent tried modern fix or fast load before.
I also recommend entity culling and Enhanced Block Entites. You can also download starlight from modrinth btw.

thx. i thought about entity culling but combining it with more culling makes it laggy so it is one or the other. also i only put things from the latest version in. but i will add it with brackets.

modrinth is better btw. it is just that modrinth is buggy for me at the moment so i can't use it properly.

I have like 50 mods installed and following those tips saves worlds in 5 seconds and loads them in 5 too. Plus I get 85 FPS average.

turning your sim and render distance up to 32 still gives you 50 frames
