I know Javascript and HTML, a little java too. Not online much, but I'm still addicted like all of you! :D Started a YouTube channel a while ago, so please Check that out! My Goal is to try to become an "All Around Minecrafter," and I think I've done an OK job at that so far! I'm decent at command blocks, a TINY bit of data packing, Modding, and Creating Maps. I think I'm a decent enough builder, and I'm ok at PVP.
Tried making some, PMC EVENTS, But that didn't go too well. So now I'm a co-host (or dev, I'm not really sure tbh) with DolphinCupcake on the MCCevents Group! (It's Going to be Fun, Sign up if it isn't Full!)
Also I was in a race to 128 subs w/ ItzOrangey, on PMC, But now I'm doing it in Youtube! ( I lost the last one, and he doesn't know about this one... yet ;D Shhh!)
About your latest video, I have a long history with Blaankit kinda, I'll sum it up, he faked being my friend to betray me and my friend, kill us take everything, breaking a ton of rules as well in the process, and revealing his master plan. He wanted to end the server, and ban everyone except himself, and reign tyranny everywhere, so I think that it probably is him, since I've caught him ban evading anyway, by the name of Charles.
The other day a semi ran through a garage of my neighbor because the driver fell asleep, and the company is going to fix it and no one was hurt, but it was basically an excuse for the old guys in town (my dad included) to go and talk to each other. Nioce.
So I was working on a mountain range for a DND MC map, but then I realized something… 1. Worlds can go up to like 300 blocks now and not only 256, and 2. I’m going to have to write a campaign for this, aren’t I? How does one write a good campaign? And what should I add to this map? A small town or two? A cave dungeon? I feel like I’m missing something obvious that I should add, but I don’t know enough about dnd to know what.
read thru the lost mine of phandelver, it's the easiest-to-learn/shortest campaign module designed for dnd newbies. lots of free pdfs of it online and it reads kind of like a storybook, should help inspire some basic dnd campaign locales and help you figure out what the adventure flow is like
Given how much of teh attraction of D&D (and other RPGs) is the natural intelligence and adaptivity of the DM/GM, translating modules into MC would be likely to underwhelm…
Using MC to produce the physical structure of the dungeons might be very much appreciated as an alternative to verbal description e.g. You enter the room through the center short side of the trapzoid with walls sloping away to the left and right (each having and arch at its midpoint), while the longer parallel opposite you has trhee evenly spaced doors that you can see — four 5' diameter pillars which form a square arounf a 10 ' diameter pit half way to the opposite wall and dirrectly in front of you.
