Upgrading mods

hi! i was wondering how can I upgrade a mod from 1.2.5 to 1.3.2 and beyond? the mod maker has not updated it and i would love to use it in my survival world.

There is only way to do it without knowing any code at all, and it's a longshot. If you can get eclipse and use the debug feature, there's a slight chance that it will work, depending on changes done to MC and modloader.
