Uses for silver
I am attempting to find new uses for silver, particularly so that it does not end up as minimal use as copper,
These uses are already in
Weapons, as well as arrows (Burns undead)
Armor (burns undeads that attack you)
Blocks, these burn undeads that step on them
Life Scanner (used to determine the level of a mob, mostly useless)
Silver Apple (When eaten burns nearby undead)
Syringe (A sunblade item, currently useless, as the faction is not in yet)

Silver blocks which shock people or something when it rains idk
I completely forgot how fire does not work when raining, during the implementation of the silver block, good catch.
Mirrors (yeah, good luck with that one 😈)
Was at one point used as 'super-black' coatings.
Anti-microbial properties (possible component for healing potions)
Forms electrum when alloyed with gold
Better electrical conductivity than copper (enhanced lightning rods)
Patina forms as a range of greys to black (as oppossed to the greens of copper alloys)

Actually for the mirror, Instead I planned an infernal mirror used to transport between the overworld and nether, in order to make sure it does not render netherportals obsolete it can't be obtained without going into the nether, due to how Mcreator is a troll with nether spawns, If you take any damage within a second of using it. The other mirror item I have planned would be a sunblade faction item that tells you the presence of vampires nearby, even if it it is not the use associated with mirrors, I still have a backup plan.
That sort of 'mirror' could well work (It was the idea of trying to insert proper reflections that I have slim hope of seeing without a ground up rewrite).

The life scanner is the only item that does not burn undead.
only item that is made from silver that is.
- Doesn't protect from piglins
- Villagers give you higher prices as you can afford silver, so you can afford their services for higher price

Silver was never intended to protect from piglins.
Plus as emeralds were already the main currency, this was not intended either, tough it could be used for diamond tier trades.
