What?
I got copyrighted by Lego_Master_A due to using a missing texture in my mod called "More Blocks" and i am actually innocent because i used the one in the Minecraft wiki, the proof is right in the mod jar file, just look in the block textures folder of the mod and the missing texture file is called "missing_texture_je4.png" and not "missing_texture.png" which is a name for a file on the Minecraft wiki so if you're reading this i did actually not used the missing texture from your mod called "Grab Missing Texture"
Due to that i would think i will soon remove the missing textures ENTIRELY from the mod.
Should i remove it from the mod or keep?

Keep

Other thing: Isn't the missing texture kinda generic(2 black and 2 purple chess square), which is common by other games

the thing is with copyright is who ever is doing the notice has to prove they own it

i do not own it, but should i remove it? or keep?
3
it will be fine

remove?

personally, i would keep it in and ignore the report since legomaster does not own the texture but at the end of the day it's up to you

ok i am going to keep it

This should probably be handled privately…
That said, I'd think "missing_texture" would not be a protectable name (when applied to the texture used to replace a missing texture file) as it is simply descriptive.
[Similarly a ball intended to be used for playing tennis could not have the tennis ball part of XYZ Tennis Ball protected.]
The web page also alleges that a magenta and black checkerboard is something of an industry standard: if true, this would argue that this color combo & pattern is not protectable [at least when used for this purpose].

put in a dispute about it OR you could change the texture so that the squares are smaller ... or larger :D
