I recently downloaded the Archimes Ship mod and was kind of disappointed that it was impossible to walk on your boat while your ship was in motion. Why would it be like this? Would it be physically impossible or just very complicated to impliment that into the mod? Just wondering.

It’s possible, and depending on your experience would take nowhere near “months to years”. Just requires some experience with vectors (not sure if that’s the correct term) and correct usage of them.
Lol off topic but I just had to right your ign swimmer, making a subscriber special thingy. Anyways OP I've used the mod and I do wish you could walk around, or at least be able to have a friend on.
