Xtreme Brewing
I’m excited to share my mod idea called Brewery Xtreme, which introduces a whole new layer of potions that don’t replace vanilla ones but add new, creative effects and gameplay mechanics. The idea started with reimagining existing potions and making them more interactive, thematic, and fun to use. One of the first potions is the Potion of Berserker. When you drink it, you get a strength boost and a speed boost. The unique thing is that every time you kill a mob or player, you gain a small additional attack boost and a bit more time on the potion’s duration. This encourages continuous aggressive play, as the effect ends if you don’t get a kill within 8 seconds. While under its effect, your skin takes on a red hue and you hear a heartbeat sound that speeds up with each kill. It makes combat feel intense and adrenaline-filled. Another potion is the Midnight Potion, which is inspired by night vision but reinterpreted as the ability to see the night itself. Drinking it transports you to a new dimension called the Midnight Dimension, which has unique mobs and a new wood type called Midnight Wood. The wood is black with purple veins, and the doors have twisty dark wood with vines growing over the windows. This opens up exploration and new resources tied to the potion’s effect. The Rocket Potion gives a burst of vertical movement. When consumed, it immediately launches you high into the air, with a soft bounce when you land. During the potion’s duration, you can activate small rocket boosts to adjust your flight midair. This potion is great for reaching secret sky bases or quickly escaping danger. The Potion of Ember’s Grace enhances fire resistance. Beyond just immunity to fire and lava, you radiate a fiery aura that damages nearby hostile mobs and lights up dark areas. Your attacks ignite enemies, adding fire damage. You can also extinguish nearby fires by sneaking, giving you control over flames around you. This potion encourages aggressive fire-themed play while adding utility. The Potion of Gentle Flight offers a short, gentle flight ability lasting about ten seconds. Unlike the Potion of Angels, it’s a light and airy float rather than sustained gliding. You can toggle flight on and off during the effect, but once it ends, you’re vulnerable to fall damage if you land poorly. It adds a graceful mobility option without overpowering flight. The Potion of Aquatic Doom grants infinite underwater breathing and allows you to absorb water energy over time when submerged. Once charged, you can release a pressurized water burst that pushes back mobs and weakens them. There is an interesting synergy where if you have both the Potion of Aquatic Doom and the Potion of Ember’s Grace active simultaneously, you turn into an immobile, invulnerable obsidian statue. This effect lasts for the combined duration of both potions, adding a humorous and strategic element to potion combinations. The Potion of Immobile Frailness is an extreme version of weakness. Drinking it reduces your maximum health to one heart and completely immobilizes you. Your attacks deal almost no damage and cause no knockback, effectively turning you into a fragile target. This potion is useful for trap rooms, boss fights, or curses that render a player helpless for a short duration. In addition to these, the mod introduces some new mechanics around potions, such as the idea that combining certain potions can create unique effects like the obsidian statue. The brewing recipes for these potions often include new items, like the Wolf Fang for the Potion of Berserker, which drops from hostile wolves, and combinations of vanilla items that fit the theme, such as blaze powder, magma cream, wither roses, and ink sacs. The mod does not replace vanilla potions but complements them with new layers of complexity and fun. It encourages players to experiment with potion effects, combos, and strategies. It also opens the door for new exploration through dimensions like the Midnight Dimension and new ways to move and fight. Overall, Brewery Xtreme is about taking something familiar and expanding it into a richer, more interactive experience that fits well with both single-player adventures and multiplayer servers. The potions add new tactical options and playful elements, giving players fresh reasons to explore and experiment. As I have said before, I am not an adult and don’t have money to commission you if you want to be commissioned. If you would do the is for free of your own choice, I would be the happiest boy in the world :)

Hm.... intriguing
Sometimes my genius is so much, yet so little
Are all of these brewing ingredients naturally obtainable, or do some need to be crafted from existing items?
All the items to brew them will all be through vanilla items
sounds cool.
Thanks, though the angel potion is supposed to be like unobtainable in survival, cuz you cant just have a literal flight potion in survival
