Hello,
I am the owner of the 1CraftServer and I am looking for you advanced builders out there that would like to contribute to a small server and earn recognition for what you have done. You can view our server profile here: http://www.planetminecraft.com/server/1craftserver/
A total of 2 people will be selected for their building abilities and will quickly earn the following on my server:
1. Rank advancement (Member -> Moderator -> Builder)
2. General trust from the server owner and other server members
3. The ability to build any megastructure(s) that you would like on my server
4. The leading of build projects
Here is what you need to do if you are interested:
Head to the server website (http://www.1craftserver.webs.com/)
and apply to build. Be sure to include that you are interested in the build-off. Our Minecraft server ip is 1craftserver.servegame.com
After that, you will be given an area to work on and you will need to complete the following:
1. Survival test: prove that survival is too easy for you and build a large home in survival mode. You are not allowed to use the in-game shops during this test
2. Creative test: build something that would be useful to the server, do not copy anything that was already done
3. Megastructure test: build a megastructure (I don't expect anything... too large) that follows a theme that is chosen for you. It will be chosen by me (the server owner)
4. Freestyle test: you will be given a certain amount of area to build on and you will be expected to prove that you are creative and that you have a good sense of style.
Note that you will be given creative mode for tests 2-4, but you will not be given WorldEdit during the test process
Within these categories, you will be graded like so:
Creativity - 50 pts.
Originality - 20 pts.
Overall likability - 15 pts.
Follows a theme - 10 pts.
Redstone used in a useful way - 5 pts.
This is for each section. Your total possible score is 400
You will need to at least get a score of 365 out of 400 to qualify if there are not enough entries or not enough good entries.
The winners of this competition will be chosen on Friday Feb. 10th
