Advertising Tips?

Hey,
I have a server that's not that popular so far. I know that advertising is key, anyone that experienced know any good sites ect. I do have a youtube video up and everyone. I set up voting a several sites.

I am no expert, so choose to listen to my advice or not.
However I am in the same predicament as you, and I have slowly....I repeat, Slowly, been getting players in. I started out with a twitch stream. You need to get all your friends and stuff in the stream to build viewers. (gets your stream higher on the list) This got me started, however did not bring in a bunch of players.
Talk with your players, Make relationships with them, And don't be afraid to ask them to tell their friends about your server.
Be active in posting your server everywhere, tell all of your friends, Upload it on PMC servers and post a thread on Minecraft forums. Make sure you are being active to ensure that your server is being seen.
Honestly these are just a bunch of stuff thrown out that i have tried, but it all boils down to (at least i have discovered) putting ALL your time into your server and being active in advertising/making connections with players/ and keeping them happy.
